Marcalex Services Ltd

Specialized Industrial Thermal Insulation and Cladding Solutions#

Marcalex Services Ltd is an established general contractor with over 45 years of experience specializing in industrial thermal insulation and cladding. The company operates primarily within the petrochemical, bio-industries, and construction sectors, providing technical solutions designed to enhance thermal efficiency and protect industrial assets. Their expertise encompasses the application of high-performance materials, including mineral and ceramic fibre, nitrile rubber, and phenolic foams, which are often integrated with specialized cladding finishes to ensure long-term durability in demanding environments.

The company maintains a dedicated fabrication workshop where they produce tailored mechanical protection for various industrial components. This includes the custom crafting of covers and jackets for pipework, ductwork, and storage tanks. Fabricated solutions are manufactured using industrial-grade materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, Aluzinc, and Plastisol sheeting. By managing both the fabrication and the on-site installation processes, Marcalex ensures that technical specifications are met with precision while maintaining control over project timelines and material quality.

Beyond specialized insulation, Marcalex offers comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services, frequently partnering with major M&E contractors to deliver insulation and cladding on both large-scale industrial developments and smaller commercial projects. As a family-run business with a long-standing workforce, the company focuses on delivering bespoke engineering solutions and professional site management. Their service model integrates a reliable supply chain with technical on-site expertise to support the operational requirements of the edible oil and heavy industrial industries across the United Kingdom.
