Carafax

Specialist Supplies for the Leisure and Modular Industries#

Established in 1985, Carafax is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialized products for the holiday home, lodge, modular building, and caravan industries. Based in Hull, the company serves a comprehensive market that includes manufacturers, park operators, and individual owners. Beyond supplying standard inventory, the firm focuses on developing bespoke solutions tailored to client-specific requirements, ensuring that materials are purpose-built for the leisure industry rather than adapted from other sectors.

The company offers an extensive range of exterior and interior construction materials. Their flagship Artefoam cladding provides high-quality PVC foam exterior solutions, available in various wood grain and stone finishes. For interiors, Carafax supplies VOX Linerio, Kerradeco, and acoustic wood panels, alongside specialized roofing systems featuring steel tiles and trapezoidal sheets. The product catalog further extends to Caraflo taps and showers, fire safety equipment compliant with modern regulations, and high-performance sealants and adhesives designed for critical applications. They also provide comprehensive road lighting solutions, including cluster lamps and reflectors.

Carafax supports modular construction through the provision of PVC and aluminium extrusions, insulation membranes, and tailored hardware. Their hardware selection encompasses everything from cabinet handles and hinges to bespoke made-to-order blinds and shutters. With over three decades of industry experience, the company maintains a focus on performance testing and expert technical advice, ensuring all components—from kitchen sinks and plumbing accessories to structural membranes—meet the rigorous demands of the leisure and modular building sectors.
