Home Improvement Services by Thistle Home Improvements Group#

Thistle Home Improvements Group is a long-standing general contractor that has served Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and North-East Scotland since 1995. Based in the Bridge of Don area, the company operates a large showroom open seven days a week, providing a centralized location for homeowners to explore renovation options. The business specializes in a broad spectrum of domestic upgrades, ranging from exterior enhancements like uPVC windows, composite doors, and roofline services to complete interior remodels. Their exterior portfolio includes low-maintenance cladding, fascias, and guttering, as well as outdoor living solutions such as composite decking, fencing, and bespoke garden rooms designed for use as offices or gyms.

The company provides comprehensive interior services, featuring bespoke kitchen and bathroom design and installation. Their kitchen offerings include British, German, and Italian brands, while their bathroom services cover everything from compact en-suites to full wet-room conversions. For homeowners requiring more significant structural changes, the group manages home extensions, conservatories, orangeries, and garage conversions. These projects are supported by a full-service approach that encompasses 3D designs, architectural drawings, and project-managed installation. By handling all phases of construction under one roof, the company ensures consistent quality across complex building requirements.

Beyond structural work, Thistle Home Improvements Group maintains dedicated divisions for plumbing, heating, and electrical services. This includes boiler upgrades, underfloor heating systems, and specialized electrical work such as house rewiring and EICR reports. They also integrate modern technology through the installation of smart lighting and audio systems. With three decades of experience and a documented history of over 30,000 improved homes, the group positions itself as a single-source provider for comprehensive residential property maintenance and expansion throughout the North-East Scotland region.
