A Steadman & Son Roofing and Cladding Solutions#

Steadmans Plc, trading as A Steadman & Son, is a prominent UK manufacturer and supplier specializing in roofing and cladding profiles. As a division of Building Solutions (National) Ltd, the company provides comprehensive building envelope components for both new build and refurbishment projects. Their primary manufacturing focus includes insulated panels, such as the AS35 system, and the Meta Slate Plus range. The company serves a diverse array of sectors, delivering structural materials for agricultural buildings, industrial facilities, and commercial motorstores across England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.

The product portfolio encompasses a wide variety of single skin steel roof and wall profiles, twin skin systems, and fibre cement options. To support these primary systems, Steadmans manufactures critical secondary steelwork, including Zed and Cee purlins, sheeting rails, eaves beams, and mezzanine floor components. They also supply specialized items such as GRP roof lights, Ventair systems, and bespoke galvanised products. This extensive range allows the company to act as a single-source provider for industrial building shells, ensuring technical compatibility across all structural components.

Beyond primary panels and steelwork, the business stocks essential roofing accessories to complete the building envelope. This includes flashings, guttering systems (including both plastic and steel options), sealants, and steel doors. Their technical department provides guidance on specifications and galvanised products to meet specific environmental or structural requirements. With facilities in Carlisle and Lanarkshire, the company maintains a logistical infrastructure capable of supplying high-volume orders for large-scale modern sawmills, livestock markets, and retail facilities throughout the United Kingdom.
